Aint just good for cooking

I've mentioned before in my previous post the benefits of turmeric powder,coconut oil, honey and tea leaves...and combined all together? Well you've got  a tasty, nutritious face mask!


Tonight I decided would be a good night to indulge in a homemade face mask!




The benefits of this mixture of powerful ingredients include reduced inflammation, anti redness, decrease in puffiness, assistance in helping fade scars, reduce oil build up that creates pimples, rids your skin of blackheads, smooth and glowing skin.

I recommend applying a home-made face mask at least once a week..

Steps
1. Tear tea leaves out of tea bag and add hot water so it creates a mild paste
2. Mix in 1 teaspoon of honey and 2 teaspoon full of turmeric ground powder
3. Before you add in your coconut oil ( if in raw glass form) keep in hot water until coconut is in a semi-liquid form and scoop out half a teaspoon
4. Mix together all the ingredients until it looks pasty
5. Use an old foundation brush and apply generously to the face
6. focus on your neck too as well as your t-zone
7. Leave on for 10 minutes maximum ( the powder can stain the skin slightly so don't forget to wash your face!)
8. Wash with a warm face towel and pat down dry
9. Finish your skin with some soothing face oil of your choice or dab your finger on the raw coconut oil and apply a thin layer to your whole skin (don't go overboard)
