DIY face mask time & hair mask!

Hello lovelies!

Over the week me and a friend were playing around with some ingredients we had lying around the kitchen and decided to make up a face mask and hair mask!

The result was lovely, glowing skin AND shiny looking hair :)

If you are interested in making either yourself, please read below!

FACE MASK

- avocado
- honey
- oats ( rolled )
- egg whites

Step 1.
Mush up the avo in a bowl.
Step 2.
Microwave your oats with a little bit of water
Step 3.
Add oats to avocado and a tsp of honey
Step 4.
Separate egg from yolk and add white into bowl
Step 5.
Mix ALL ingredients together! Place in freezer for 10-15 mins.

The idea is that it isnt runny but it isnt stuck together

FYI:Do not do both at the same time as this can get really messy !!!

Step 6.
Apply to sections of your face ( fore head, cheeks, chin, nose, eye lids and neck)

Step 7.
Leave on for 15 mins, then rinse off

Step 8.
Moisturizer after and you'll feel your skin will be glowingly, smooth skin  and your complexion will look even :)

This is the perfect face  treatment for anyone who suffers from dull or blotchy skin. And it's just as great if your skin needs a pick-me-up.
I would suggest you do a DIY face treatment once a week, and play around with your ingredients. In my previous post I listed some amazing face mask you can achieve at home with minimal ingredients !

HAIR MASK

-egg
-lemon
-avocado

Step 1.
whisk egg together ( don't separate as the whole egg has protein in it which is SUPER beneficial to your hair)
Step 2.
Squeeze half a lemon with your egg and mush avocado together
Step 3.
Place in freezer for 10-15 mins. Like the face mask, the texture should be fine but not runny!
Step 4.
Apply at the ends of your hair focusing on getting every strand, and lightly covering the top of your head.
Step 5.
Put up in a bun and leave in for 30 mins
FYI: Hair WILL become dry , please dont fret this is just the treatment working its magic!
Step 6.
Shampoo twice and condition once, and style as per usual!

This hair treatment is best for dull, frizzy and lifeless hair. It gives your hair a boost of protein and healthy oils.
You can do this at least once a week and add coconut oil for extra care!
